What changes in the output
- JPG is written at quality 92 and is lossy. It is often larger than an efficiently encoded AVIF.
- Transparency becomes white; HDR and wide-gamut appearance are not guaranteed to survive the canvas conversion.
- Animated inputs become a single still output. Use PNG instead if a transparent background matters.
If the result looks wrong
If the AVIF cannot be decoded, update the browser or export a compatible copy from the original application. Renaming it to .jpg does not convert it.
