What changes in the output
- Only the first decoded image is exported; a multi-page TIFF is not split into separate JPGs.
- Pixels pass through an 8-bit RGBA representation, then quality-92 JPG. High bit depth, source ICC information and metadata are not retained.
- Transparency becomes white. Use PNG when the background needs to remain transparent.
If the result looks wrong
Specialized TIFF compression, scientific channels or unusual color spaces may not decode as expected. Try a standard RGB export and keep the original.
